SD has created a new and exciting range of surfboards using carbon fiber. SD Carbon Fiber surfboards have a solid foam core, the same as his Glass fiber surfboards. SD has chosen to use Carbon Fiber because its high tensile strength and low weight make it an excelent material for Surfboard construction. Also carbon fiber has been shown to stand up to fatigue over time. This means if you take care of the surfboard it will last much longer than a Glass Fiber Surfboard.
